Even months after this Gate Street Barn wedding, I am still so in love with it. A favourite from the year for sure. Not only are Kayli and Matt such an amazing couple, their wedding was just visually stunning.
I first met Kayli and Matt back in 2014 when they booked me for their wedding. I found out how Matt proposed whilst they were at Glastonbury Festival. As that festival plays a big part in their lives. So naturally they were thinking of a festival themed wedding. Amazing! But when I turned up on their wedding day, I was absolutely blown away with everything.
What They Wore
Kayli got ready with her mum and bridesmaids at the venue. She was in safe hands with Vicky Brown doing her hair and makeup. She had the most stunning Suzanne Neville wedding dress and veil that she brought from Ellie Sanderson Bridal Boutique. Her headpiece was by Jenny Packham and she wore Jimmy Choo shoes. I swear she looked like an Elven princess from Lord of the Rings.
Gate Street Barn Wedding Details
Gate Street Barn was decorated throughout with stunning flowers by Little Tin Shed. Hanging flowers decorated the chandeliers. One was particularly incredible that hung over where Kayli and Matt were married, then over the top table later on during the reception. Jars upon jars upon jars full with flowers decorated the tables. Each table was named after a stage at Glastonbury Festival by Ink and Seal. A beautiful flower arrangement hung on the Shepherd’s Hut at the venue as well.
Their wedding ceremony was moving. When Matt first saw Kayli, he became very emotional. During the ceremony, they were just full of smiles and couldn’t stop looking at one another. Even the registrar got emotional. I don’t know what it is about them, but whatever it is, Kayli and Matt have something very special.
Kalm Kitchen provided the amazing food for the occasion. The way in which they present their food is incredible, so you are blown away before you even get to try it! Le Papillon Patisserie had created their three tier naked wedding cake. The evening entertainment consisted of music by Chess Disco and a photobooth in Tiffany the Vintage Caravan.
I am truly grateful to have been a part of this very special day. Here are some of my favourite photographs from the day.
