I absolutely adored this colourful Gate Street Barn wedding. Claire and Richard wanted their day just to be full of colour, fun and laughter, and it sure was!
Claire started the day with her bridesmaids and mum, getting ready at The Stable at Gate Street Barn. Richard was with his groomsmen and dad getting ready at Guildford Harbour Hotel before heading over to the venue. The barn was decorated with gorgeous, brightly colourful flowers and lanterns from The Hanging Lantern Company. Throughout the rooms, photos of Claire and Richard’s lives were shared. Whether it was photos of them together when they first got engaged or photos of them with their two gorgeous daughters. AKA Party Band were on hand to play during the ceremony and drinks reception.
Food was provided by Tandem Catering (so so amazing and the best sticky toffee pudding!!!). We were really lucky with the weather as it didn’t rain despite being a winter wedding. But Claire and Richard had brought along their wellies just in case, so we did some photos with them wearing them that evening.
That evening, Winnie the Vintage Caravan was set up outside for guests to dress up and get their photo taken inside the caravan. Such an awesome alternative for a photobooth! AKA Party Band then got everyone on the dance floor by playing some awesome tunes for everyone to get their dance on to.
It was such a fun day to be a part of. All about celebrating with their nearest and dearest and having such a fun day! My favourite kind of wedding. Here are some highlights from their day.
